Аннотация
Teaching English to adults presents unique challenges and opportunities compared to teaching younger learners. Adults bring with them life experiences, professional needs, and intrinsic motivation, but may also face barriers such as anxiety, cognitive load, or time constraints. This article explores effective methods for teaching English to adult learners in diverse contexts, including communicative approaches, task-based learning, problem-based instruction, and the use of technology. It also discusses the importance of learner autonomy, relevance of content, and the sociocultural aspects of adult education. The goal is to provide educators with evidence-based strategies for enhancing adult language acquisition and engagement.
