The increasing demand for natural health products has led to the growing interest in dietary supplements derived from medicinal plant extracts. Medicinal plants contain a variety of bioactive compounds, including polyphenols, flavonoids, alkaloids, and essential oils, which contribute to their health-promoting properties. This study focuses on the formulation, extraction techniques, and quality control of dietary supplements obtained from medicinal plants. Various extraction methods, such as solvent extraction, supercritical fluid extraction, and ultrasound-assisted extraction, are discussed. Additionally, the importance of standardization, safety assessment, and regulatory compliance in the production of plant-based supplements is highlighted. The findings emphasize that well-formulated herbal supplements can serve as effective nutraceuticals to promote human health and prevent diseases.
