Mathematics plays a foundational role in technical and economic education, providing essential tools for analytical thinking, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning. However, teaching mathematics in these domains requires specialized approaches that align with the practical and theoretical needs of each field. This article explores effective methodologies for teaching mathematics to students in technical and economic programs, with emphasis on interdisciplinary applications, technology integration, problem-based learning, and competence-oriented education. The paper analyzes challenges in comprehension and application, suggests pedagogical strategies tailored to each domain, and discusses the role of digital tools and modeling in enhancing understanding. The goal is to contribute to the advancement of mathematics education in ways that are relevant, engaging, and professionally valuable.
