Аннотация
As urban areas evolve into smart cities, the integration of advanced vehicular communication technologies becomes critical to achieving intelligent and sustainable mobility solutions. Vehicle-to-Roadside (V2R) communication—an essential component of the broader Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) framework—enables vehicles to exchange information with roadside infrastructure in real-time, improving traffic flow, safety, and environmental efficiency. This paper analyzes the infrastructural, technological, regulatory, and social needs for the effective deployment of V2R systems in smart city environments. Emphasis is placed on interoperability, network latency, data privacy, and the need for multi-sectoral collaboration. The study also discusses global best practices and outlines recommendations for developing countries seeking to modernize urban transportation systems.
