The application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in transportation network analysis and climate change analysis has revolutionized the way we approach urban planning, infrastructure management, and environmental studies. GIS provides powerful tools to model, analyze, and optimize transportation networks, enabling better decision-making for transportation planning and management. On the other hand, climate change analysis, supported by GIS, offers insights into the effects of environmental changes on urban and rural landscapes, allowing for better adaptation and mitigation strategies. This paper explores the role of GIS in both transportation network analysis and climate change analysis. It highlights how spatial data is used to understand traffic patterns, optimize routes, and evaluate the impacts of climate change on transportation systems and infrastructure. Additionally, the paper examines the integration of GIS with climate change models, offering solutions for reducing transportation emissions, improving sustainability, and creating climate-resilient infrastructure.
