Аннотация
This paper examines the literary landscape of 19th century Turkmenistan, focusing on the dialectical interplay between traditional forms of oral and classical literature and the emergent elements of novelty brought by individual poetic voices and external cultural influences. Drawing upon major poets such as Magtymguly Pyragy, Mollanepes, and Kemine, the study demonstrates how continuity and innovation shaped the identity of Turkmen literature during a period of socio-political transformation. The paper incorporates historical context, literary analysis, and comparative perspectives to situate Turkmen literary developments within the broader currents of Central Asian and Islamic literary traditions.
