Аннотация
Bionic legs represent a transformative leap in prosthetics and rehabilitation, merging robotics, neural engineering, and AI to restore or augment lower-limb function. This review traces their development from mechanical prostheses to intelligent, sensor-driven systems, analyzing clinical outcomes, technological advancements, and challenges like cost and neural integration. Drawing on publications from 1960–2025, including bibliometric data and clinical trials, it highlights systems achieving up to 95% gait symmetry and 30% reduced metabolic cost. Future directions include brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), tissue-engineered neural interfaces, and lightweight composites for broader accessibility.
