Аннотация

The growing demand for computational power has intensified concerns regarding energy consumption in modern computing systems. This study explores innovations in hardware design that aim to enhance energy efficiency while maintaining or improving computational performance. Using a mixed-methods approach that combines comparative performance analysis and simulation modeling, the research examines emerging architectural paradigms, including heterogeneous integration, neuromorphic systems, and advanced power management circuits. The findings indicate that strategic hardware optimization at both microarchitectural and circuit levels yields significant energy savings without compromising throughput. Furthermore, the results underscore the role of co-design methodologies integrating software and hardware optimization. The study concludes that sustainable progress in computing performance will depend on the convergence of intelligent hardware design, adaptive architectures, and low-power fabrication technologies, positioning energy-efficient computing as a cornerstone of next-generation digital infrastructure.
