Аннотация

Human survival depends on the continuous interaction of complex biological systems that maintain internal stability and support essential physiological activities. This article provides an overview of the primary life-sustaining functions, focusing on three core areas: gas exchange and cellular respiration, nutrient processing and energy regulation, and systemic homeostasis. By examining these essential mechanisms, the paper highlights how the human body coordinates multiple organ systems to preserve life, respond to internal and external stressors, and maintain overall health.
