Аннотация
The increasing global demand for sustainable construction materials has encouraged intensive research on environmentally friendly alternatives to ordinary Portland cement (OPC). Green cement, produced using industrial by-products, supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), and energy-efficient techniques, offers significant environmental benefits. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the physical and mechanical properties of green cement, emphasizing its structural performance and comparative behavior relative to conventional cement. Results from published research indicate that green cement exhibits comparable, and in some cases superior, properties in terms of compressive strength, durability, porosity, and thermal resistance, while substantially reducing CO₂ emissions. This article evaluates these characteristics through a scientific and analytical approach.
