Аннотация
Aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃)–based ceramic nanocomposites have attracted significant scientific and industrial interest due to their exceptional mechanical strength, thermal stability, chemical inertness, and wear resistance. The incorporation of nanoscale reinforcements into alumina matrices enables substantial improvement of fracture toughness, hardness, and functional properties compared to conventional monolithic ceramics. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the production technology of alumina-based ceramic nanocomposites, including raw materials selection, powder synthesis, dispersion strategies, shaping techniques, and sintering processes. Particular emphasis is placed on nanostructure control, interfacial phenomena, and advanced processing methods such as spark plasma sintering and sol–gel synthesis. Challenges, performance evaluation, and future perspectives are also discussed.
