Аннотация

The development of fire-resistant (FR) fibers is a critical intersection of material science and public safety. From the protective gear worn by firefighters to the upholstery in commercial aircraft, these fibers are engineered to resist ignition, limit the spread of flames, and maintain structural integrity under extreme thermal stress. Unlike natural fibers like cotton, which are highly flammable, or standard synthetics that melt and drip, fire-resistant fibers are created through sophisticated chemical engineering and specialized manufacturing processes.
