The rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly transformed the field of education, particularly language teaching and learning. Technology-enhanced language learning (TELL) has emerged as a powerful approach that integrates digital tools into pedagogical practices to support and improve language acquisition. This article examines the role of technology in English language teaching, focusing on its pedagogical value, impact on learner autonomy and motivation, and contribution to developing communicative competence. The study highlights how technology creates interactive, flexible, and learner-centred environments that respond to the needs of modern learners. It also discusses the challenges associated with technology integration and emphasizes the importance of pedagogically grounded implementation. The article argues that technology-enhanced language learning, when used purposefully, significantly improves the effectiveness and quality of English language education.
