Аннотация

Assessment and feedback are essential components of English language teaching, significantly influencing learners’ motivation, progress, and overall communicative competence. This article examines contemporary approaches to assessment, including formative and summative methods, and explores the role of constructive feedback in language learning. The study analyzes strategies for providing timely and effective feedback, the use of digital tools, and the integration of assessment into communicative and task-based teaching approaches. Challenges and best practices in assessment and feedback implementation are also discussed.
