Аннотация

The study of computational complexity provides a formal framework for analyzing the inherent difficulty of algorithmic problems. Within this framework, the notion of computational hardness plays a central role in distinguishing between problems that admit efficient solutions and those that are believed to be intractable. This paper presents a conceptual overview of Computational Complexity Theory, focusing on major complexity classes, reductions, and the theoretical foundations of hardness. Particular attention is given to the implications of these concepts for algorithm design, cryptography, and large-scale computation.
