Аннотация

The durability and performance of bridge and road infrastructure depend significantly on the quality of materials used in their construction. Among these materials, insulating systems play a crucial role in protecting structural elements from thermal fluctuations, moisture penetration, and chemical degradation. This paper discusses the technology for the preparation of insulating materials used in bridge and road structures, with a particular focus on cement-based

insulating composites, commonly referred to as “cement blankets.” The study reviews material composition, production technologies, physical and mechanical properties, and practical applications in modern civil engineering. Recent developments in sustainable and high-performance insulation materials are also analyzed.
