Аннотация

Virtualization technologies have fundamentally transformed modern digital infrastructure by enabling efficient resource utilization, scalable computing environments, and flexible service deployment. However, the increasing adoption of virtualization introduces new security challenges that affect data confidentiality, system integrity, and infrastructure availability. This article examines the impact of virtualization on digital infrastructure security by analyzing virtual machines, hypervisors, containerized environments, and cloud-based architectures. The paper explores the theoretical foundations of virtualization security, discusses common threats such as VM escape, hypervisor attacks, insecure isolation, and misconfiguration, and proposes a layered security architecture for virtualized systems. Additionally, practical applications, benefits, limitations, and future research directions are discussed. The study concludes that virtualization significantly enhances infrastructure flexibility and operational efficiency, but requires advanced security mechanisms and continuous monitoring to maintain secure digital ecosystems.
