Аннотация
Ultramarine is one of the most important inorganic pigments used in paints, polymers, ceramics, paper, cosmetics, construction materials, and artistic applications. Traditionally produced through high-temperature solid-state reactions involving aluminosilicate materials, sulfur compounds, sodium salts, and reducing agents, ultramarine synthesis has evolved significantly with the development of modern materials science and nanotechnology. The present article provides a detailed scientific analysis of innovative methods involving the interaction of various substances used in ultramarine synthesis. Particular attention is devoted to precursor chemistry, mechanochemical activation, hydrothermal synthesis, microwave-assisted processing, nanostructural modification, sulfur incorporation mechanisms, catalytic interactions, and environmentally sustainable production technologies. The physicochemical mechanisms governing chromophore formation, crystal lattice stabilization, and particle morphology control are critically examined. The article also discusses industrial applications, environmental considerations, and future research directions associated with advanced ultramarine synthesis technologies.
