Аннотация

The rapid growth of digital communication platforms has fundamentally transformed the way individuals and organizations exchange information. Messaging applications have become essential tools for personal communication, business collaboration, and remote interaction. However, the increasing number of cyberattacks, surveillance activities, and data breaches has raised serious concerns regarding user privacy and communication security. Traditional messaging systems often rely on centralized servers where messages may be intercepted, monitored, or accessed by unauthorized parties. This article examines the concept of Secure Messenger Systems with End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) as an advanced approach for protecting digital communication. Unlike conventional messaging platforms, E2EE systems ensure that only communicating users can access message contents, while service providers and intermediaries remain unable to decrypt transmitted information. The paper explores theoretical foundations of cryptography, secure key exchange protocols, and encrypted communication architectures. Furthermore, it proposes a layered architecture for implementing secure messaging systems in web and mobile applications. The study also discusses practical applications, security benefits, implementation challenges, and future research directions related to privacy-preserving communication technologies.
