Аннотация

This course paper examines the comprehensive process of designing, modeling, and developing a cross-platform software application named Currency Converter. The relevance of this research is driven by the rapid, continuous globalization of international financial markets and the constant necessity for corporate entities, financial analysts, and private users to obtain accurate, real-time foreign exchange rate data. The paper provides an exhaustive academic analysis of modern architectural solutions, the rationale behind the selected technology stack, and synchronization algorithms utilizing external REST API endpoints. Special attention is paid to user interface design principles, human-computer interaction standards, explicit error handling, and system fault tolerance, specifically focusing on local data caching paradigms to ensure partial functionality during periods of unstable or entirely absent internet connectivity. The research demonstrates how modular software engineering practices can be applied to build a reliable utility that balances network efficiency with mathematical precision.
