Ensuring the reliability of an aviation system can no longer be treated as the task of a single life-cycle stage. This study addresses the fragmentation between materials selection, structural design, manufacturing technology, operational monitoring, and maintenance, which weakens the overall reliability of complex objects such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and gas-turbine aero-engines. The aim is to analyse a group of related engineering studies as a single concept and to propose an integrated model for improving the structural, technological, and operational reliability of aviation hardware. The work is theoretical and analytical: it applies a systematic comparison of existing engineering results and synthesises them around the concept of a reliability chain. Five thematic directions are examined: the mechanical behaviour of V95P aluminium-alloy fasteners after high-temperature treatment; automated CAD/CAE shaping of UAV external geometry; heat-transfer effects during the curing of epoxy-based composite parts; the combination of vacuum infusion, computational fluid dynamics, and intelligent energy management; and predictive-maintenance modelling for aero-engines. The principal result is an integrated model that links material quality, design, manufacturing stability, aerodynamic and energy efficiency, and predictive maintenance into one conceptual reliability function. The model is intended as an analytical framework rather than an empirical formula. Its significance lies in supporting integrated engineering education, stage-by-stage technical control for UAV development teams, and the gradual introduction of predictive-maintenance practices in civil aviation.
