Аннотация
The rapid expansion of telecommunications networks and digital infrastructure has increased connectivity while simultaneously enlarging the attack surface available to cyber adversaries. This study examines contemporary cybersecurity challenges affecting telecommunications systems, including fifth-generation and emerging mobile networks, cloud infrastructure, Internet of Things environments, software-defined networking, virtualization, and critical digital services. A qualitative research design combining structured literature analysis, threat categorization, and comparative security assessment was employed to identify recurring vulnerabilities and defensive limitations.
