Аннотация

The learning of English as a second language (ESL) has become an essential skill in the modern world, owing to globalization and the increasing need for international communication. This paper explores various methodologies for teaching and learning English, focusing on the most effective approaches used in language acquisition. It reviews traditional, communicative, and task-based methods, highlighting their strengths and limitations. The research also emphasizes the importance of motivation, cultural context, and modern technologies in the learning process. Finally, the paper presents strategies that can be employed to enhance language skills, with a focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
