Аннотация

The methodology of learning English as a foreign language has been a central area of research and development in language education. Over time, various approaches have emerged, each with a distinct focus and pedagogical framework. This paper explores the most widely used methodologies in teaching English, such as the Grammar-Translation Method, Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Learning (TBL), and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The paper also highlights the importance of incorporating modern technology, student motivation, and cultural context in the language learning process. Through a critical review of existing methodologies, the paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of effective strategies for learning English in diverse educational settings.
